Bridal planning can be a truly overwhelming process! We can make it a bit easier by answering a few questions before you even have to ask! 

‚ÄčAre you a salon?

We are no longer a full service salon. We've set aside our shears to pursue bridal artistry as a team. Pomp & Artistry does not offer hair color services, haircuts, nail services or other standard salon services. We are group of seasoned, fully licensed cosmetologists and cosmetology educators who band together to make beautiful things because it's what we enjoy most. What does that mean for you? You'll never have to worry about an artist NOT arriving on your big day... because there are plenty of us and we are all anxious to be the one contributing to your bridal moments. 

How many weddings do you do a season? 

We have been in this industry for over fifteen years and each season our booking schedule grows. Requests for our services have outgrown what our schedule allows. As such, we are selective in our work and contract just a few brides a weekend during our peak season. We pour our creativity into those moments with our brides and in return our brides keep us excited about what we do!

When should I book my bridal beauty services?

Our schedule is open to booking up to two years in advance. We recommend securing your bridal beauty team at the same time that you secure your photographer. A reputable artist will fill their books quite early.  You dont want to miss your window! 

What if I dont know how many people will need services on my wedding day?

If you don't have a final head count, dont worry! We don't ask for your final service count until the weeks leading up to the big day. 

Do you have a minimum service requirement for on location services?

During our peak season, we do ask that a three person minimum is met for the services your are requesting. However, we assess each case individually. Please contact us for more details about our minimum service requirements for your special day. 

What is needed to secure services with Pomp & Artistry?

We do require a standard deposit and completed contract to get your date on our books. Your deposit will be applied to your overall total on the big day.

Can I do a trial with my bridal beauty team?

All trials are held in our Lowell area studio. We do offer trial pricing for our contracted brides. If you are interestd in booking a trial prior to contracting services please refer to our a la carte pricing. 

What are your travel fees?

We offer on location services at no additional cost to our brides within a 50 mile radius of Grand Rapids, MI. Anything over the first 50 miles is simply .65 on the mile round trip. Please contact your booking coordinator for specific mileage pricing.
